Contact Me

If you are interested in purchasing figure painting in oils, printmaking and portrait commissions, then please get in touch, I would love to hear from you! I also run teaching workshops, both in my own studio here in Glasgow and also experimental monotype printing workshops of all levels in the Glasgow Print Studio.

I work from my studio in Glasgow. You are very welcome to arrange a visit to see my current work in progress or to talk about developing your own art practice via one-to-one workshop sessions but please call or email first as I am usually in the middle of painting and have models or students in my studio.

Above all, thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking an interest in my work! This website is constantly evolving and I plan to continually add new works and information so it is definitely work checking back from time to time. I would wholeheartedly encourage you to add yourself to my mailing list so that you are the first to hear about new works from my studio, exhibitions and teaching workshops – the subscribe box is at the bottom of this page.

About the studio

WASPS Artists Studios in the heart of the Merchant City of  Glasgow

  • A welcoming and creative environment where you can experiment/be encouraged to try new materials.
  • A place to make time for yourself to create your art, away from distractions and other obligations. A creative space to relax and getting lost in making.
  • Space to work on larger pieces.

Getting there

There is plenty of parking at Kings Street NCP Car park and some buses do stop right outside. It is a ten minute walk from Glasgow Central station or Queen Street Station, and a little less from St Enoch’s underground station.

Considerations about the studio

My studio is on the 3rd floor but there is disabled access via lifts, plus the studio is right next to the disabled loo.

There is kettle for hot drinks in the studio, and there will be biscuits and treats for energy. There is no kitchen on our floor but the studio is close to places to have lunch or buy food. You can bring your own snacks too and are welcome to eat food in the studio, as long as you do your washing up afterwards 🙂

I occasionally use chemicals like acetone and methylated spirits as well as spirit based thinners and mediums for oil painting. I do have good fresh air ventilation via opening windows, but it may mean that the studio is not suitable for pregnant women or students with with respiratory problems.
