Terms of Service, Delivery and Refunds

I want you to be happy with your new art. If you have any questions please contact me in advance and I will be very pleased to help you.

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

Payments

How is my payment handled?
Payments are taken through PayPal in British Pounds Sterling. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

Paying by bank transfer
There is a checkout option to pay by bank transfer which many UK customers prefer. If you select this option you will be emailed with details of how to pay. Please pay immediately as the artwork is marked as sold immediately and unavailable to others, thank you.

Shipping

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my painting?
We aim to ensure that original paintings will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. Within the UK pieces are sent fully insured by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight.  Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. During periods of disruption we will contact the buyer to discuss possible alternative methods of postage.

Please allow 7 working days in total from the date of purchase. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
Yes, you will be given this option at the checkout. My studio is in the city centre of Glasgow and I ask that you email me after purchasing the artwork to make an appointment to collect the artwork. I sometimes work from home in Bishopton and you would also be able to collect the artwork from there if that was more suitable. If you are purchasing a large piece, especially if it is framed already, please check the size to ensure that it will fit into your mode of transport.

How Much Does Shipping Cost?
Shipping costs are provided at the checkout and will be calculated based upon the value and size of your artwork.

Can you ship internationally?
It is very difficult for me to give shipping options for every piece of artwork, for each country. For this reason I only show options to ship my artworks within the UK, the USA, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France. However, if you would like to purchase something and live outside the countries mentioned previously please contact me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options. If, for example, you live in Spain I will calculate the costs and add that location to my online store for you, and all future customers.

Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. I have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

I Would Really Like to Buy Something but I have No Idea How Shipping Works!
Don’t worry, I am very happy to help you. If you have any questions whatsoever regarding shipping please just send me a message and we can discuss the options available to you.

Returns

What if my artwork arrives and I don’t like it?
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork.

If an original artwork is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service used to send it to you. Returning the artwork safely is your responsibility. Once the piece has been returned undamaged I will refund your payment within 14 days. You are responsible to covering the cost of return postage.

What if the Artwork is Bigger or Smaller than I expected?
The dimensions of each artwork are provided in each artwork listing in my shop. If the artwork is provided framed I also list the overall size. The sizes given are measured with a reasonable duty of care and are accurate to within approximately +/- 1cm. It is your responsibility to ensure the artwork is the correct size of your requirements and no returns will be accepted for this reason.

What if my painting arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 24 hours of receiving it with a photograph of the artwork and the damaged packaging.

What about Overseas Returns?
At this time I am unable to offer a refund or return on any artworks sent outside of the UK.
